Heritage Golf & Spa Resort

On the South coast of the island, in the coastal village of Bel Ombre, 30 kms from Plaisance International Airport and 45 kms from the capital city, Port Louis.
Situated between the mountains and the sea in an undulating landscape interspersed with lakes, streams and tropical trees, the championship course which is both technically challenging and varied, provides golfers with unique possibilities for a game with exceptional moments and memories

Ile Aux Cerfs

Bernhard Langer has created a true masterpiece snaking throughout the coral island refuge. His style features small, undulating greens requiring accurate approach shots and expansive waste bunkers that allow the natural flora and fauna to be featured prominently.
All 18 holes have views of the ocean – some with glimpses across clearings through the trees; others by coming close to the shore.
There are nine lakes in all, with a number of holes requiring tee shots across sea inlets to the fairways. The water and the expansive bunkers of indigenous white sand set off the natural backdrop of trees and vegetation

Le Paradis Golf Club

Paradis is situated on a private peninsula South West of the island, at the foot of the majestic Le Morne mountain.
Only the best superlatives do this great resort course justice! Le Paradis is a stunning setting - imagine a course that combines the very best features of the La Manga courses (lots of palm trees, water hazards and large white sand bunkers) with the scenery of the world renowned Killarney courses in Ireland and you may get some idea of how beautiful and testing Le Paradis is.
An incredible test of golf on the famous Le Morne Peninsula, with sea, lagoon and mountain views. Great condition and a course you would love to play every day of your holiday

Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort

The golf course features two rivers, Citronniers and St Martin, and the beautiful and historic Chateau de Bel Ombre. It enjoys a magnificent view of both the lagoon and the mountains.
While the course has been designed to challenge advanced players, it will also be enjoyed by recreational golfers. Five sets of tees are provided for each hole, with generous fairway provision, where necessary

Tamarina

This Par 72 challenging course undulates over 43 hectares of rugged savannah land framed with mature trees and crossed by the Rempart River. The landscaping of holes and surrounds has been contracted to an international team and the holes have been specially designed to give spectacular views of Mount Rempart and the towering mountain range. Some holes have great views over the crisp blue Tamarin Bay. Golfers will love the contrast between the rough surroundings and the smoothness of the rolling greens and wide fairways that adds to the experience of Tamarina Golf Course. Playing 6800 metres from the Professional tees, the course is laid out with standard four par 3’s and four par 5’s with remaining holes as par 4’s. Each hole offers five different teeing options, catering for all level of golfers: Professional, Championship, Club, Senior/Ladies Championship and Ladies tees.

The Legends Course

The Belle Mare Plage Championship Golf Course opened in 1994 and was the first on the island of Mauritius. The fairways are lined with trees and bushes, so you need to watch your accuracy, and the greens are set amongst some spectacular backdrops.
Each of the 18 holes has distinctive characteristics. Superb fairways are laid in the heart of an indigenous forest, culminating in the brand new greens, built to USGA specifications.
In a constant effort to provide the perfect golfing location, all 18 greens have been rebuilt using Tif Dwarf grasses to ensure a perfect surface.

The Links Course

This new course has proved to be a welcome addition to the Belle Mare Plage resort. The course sits beneath the clubhouse and faces the setting sun, so the early evening views are wonderful.
The first nine holes have a more open feel to them with the second nine winding through an old deer reserve and natural undergrowth.
New grasses have brought a vivid green comparison with the indigenous volcanic rocks which have been left as a feature of the course. The fairways, while being generous, dictate how each hole should be played as a drive on the wrong side leaves a more difficult approach on many holes.
The gentle undulations of the smooth greens presents a challenge to the finest of putters. Water comes into play on 6 holes, the most noticeable being the quadrilateral of 11 - 14 which is played around an inland lake. The 18th, with it`s second shot over water provides a fitting finale to this Peter Allis designed course.
