San Andrés Golf Club is the oldest golf club in Argentina. The first course was built near the present location in 1892, Getting there takes no more than twenty or thirty minutes by car or train from down town Buenos Aires.
San Andres Golf Club hosted the Argentine Open 21 times (more than any other club). Roberto De Vicenzo, the 1967 British Open Champion, won here twice, and is presently an honorary member
