The course is very picturesque, winding down towards the sea through mature trees (which offer plenty of shade) and vegetation. The perfectly manicured fairways make several crossings of the Real River, and you'll have to putt well on the fast greens.
Rio Real is a pretty long course but don't let that put you off - it's flat, easy to walk and the open fairways will encourage you to really go for it with your driver.
