Fuerteventura Golf Club, the first club on the island, has been built in Antigua, eleven kilometres from the capital, on the JandĦa road, only eight kilometres from the airport. The holes wander over streams and around lakes and the eternal breeze that gives Fuerteventura it's delightful climate throughout summer and winter, means that club selection has to be based on criteria other than just the length of a certain shot.
