The Hotel, constructed in the same period as was the villa, was, at one time, to separate the court's residence from that of the servants and pages. The building, located directly underneath the Medici - Villa “la Ferdinanda”, was completely restored, maintaining and in respect to the original structure of chimneys, antique wash-basins made of stone, wooden beams, cotto floor and the fresco of San Antonio.

Each room possesses it's own personality and originality in it's furnishing and spaces.
The most beautiful villa of the Medici-family is only a few minutes away, at Poggio a Caiano. In only 15 minutes by car one can reach Prato the capital of the province, Montelupo Fiorentino, Empoli or Vinci. Florence the town of art and culture is only 20 minutes away.

The "Ser Biagio Pignatta" restaurant proposes a vast choice of traditional Tuscan dishes, with added innovative elements. The premises are close to the villa and the hotel, and has a capacity for 180 diners on two floor levels.
The ground floor has a large dining room, and a connecting smaller room, both facing onto Messer Pignatta's colonnade, and onto a terrace offering a view of one of Tuscany's finer views.

The "Cantina del Redi" Enotheque situated in the village of Artimino conserves the walls of a secular castle of mediaeval origin, where one can partake of snacks and rustic Tuscan dishes, having an opportunity for tasting the flavour of the wines of the Artimino estate.
