The Belle Mare Plage Championship Golf Course opened in 1994 and was the first on the island of Mauritius. The fairways are lined with trees and bushes, so you need to watch your accuracy, and the greens are set amongst some
spectacular backdrops.
Each of the 18 holes has distinctive characteristics. Superb fairways are laid in the heart of an indigenous forest, culminating in the brand new greens, built to USGA specifications.
In a constant effort to provide the perfect golfing location, all 18 greens have been rebuilt using Tif Dwarf grasses to ensure a perfect surface.
