Barsebäck is a prestigious tournament venue, and is ranked as Sweden's second best course, and number 13 in continental Europe. The 2003 Solheim Cup and no less than 9 European Tour events have put the club on the world golf map, and with its two outstanding championship courses, and easy access from Malmö and Copenhagen, there are few to match Barsebäck in Scandinavia.
Masters Course The Masters Course (6,620 yards, par-72) is regarded as the club's premier layout, and makes up the majority of the composite course used to stage major tournaments. The wonderful sweeping holes are carved through the estate's mature pine forests, and around the shimmering lakes that are both challenging and beautiful. Donald Steel Course The Donald Steel Course is always maintained in the same immaculate condition as the Masters, and is set against the backdrop of the same verdant pines. The par-71 layout is slightly shorter, at 6,220 yards, but is still a good test. From Barsebäck on a clear day, it is possible to see as far as Copenhagen, and with its two magnificent courses, it is clear to see why the club is so highly regarded in both Sweden and abroad |
