Ljunghusens Golf Club was founded in 1932, and lies on the same magnificent headland that is home to Falsterbo's excellent golf course. At Ljunghusens, there are three loops of nine holes each, comprising an amazing links complex that has hosted prestigious professional events on the European Tour and the Challenge Tour.
With the wind whipping off the Baltic Sea, Ljunghusens is extremely tough, especially when you consider that the course is punctuated by 12 water hazards and no less than 80 bunkers. The sandy turf will make visitors from the UK Ireland feel at home, and on a breezy day, only golf of the highest calibre will threaten par. The abundant flora and fauna, and a remarkable array of sea birds that are native to the reserve, make the setting even more special. A home away from home, Ljunghusens comes highly recommended as part of a good golf holiday around Malmö. |
