Majeka House is a family friendly five-star boutique hotel set in the Stellenbosch Winelands. The hotel is just 35 minutes from Cape Town International Airport and within close proximity of Stellenbosch Golf Club, De Zalze Golf Club and Botanical Gardens at the University of Stellenbosch.
The hotel offers luxury accommodation across all 23 guest rooms and its creative interior is thanks to renowned designer Etienne Hanekom whose expertise has created a modern, elegant atmosphere. The hotel boasts 23 well-appointed rooms which are split into four different room types, whether you choose the Premier Collection, Garden Alternative, Mountain View Selection or the Poolside Choice. While the names are somewhat a giveaway to what to expect from each room, they are all unique in their experience for guests and visiting golfers. One thing that is constant throughout the hotel is the high class in-room amenities on offer, all of the 23 rooms include an LCD TV, comfortable bed(s), air conditioning, stocked minibar and even a private balcony from which you can enjoy magnificent views of the local landscape and across local vineyards. There are 12 Premier Collection rooms at Majeka House, each one individually designed and perfect for small groups of travelling golfers. The lavish rooms ooze class with modern bathrooms which include their own TVs, spacious showers and high-quality towels and essentials. The three Garden Alternative Rooms at the hotel are an obvious step up with a terraced area, private plunge pool and of course views across the luscious gardens. Mountain View rooms are extremely popular amongst guests and like the name suggests, afford a spectacular outlook to the Stellenbosch mountains. The bedrooms, bathrooms and living area are all more spacious with added amenities including a honesty bar and coffee machine. With only two Poolside Choices, these rooms are the most exclusive at the hotel and they both share an outside pool within a serene forest. Once again, these options will be the largest at Majeka House, from the beds to the baths. |
