Estoril is one of the best established golfing venues in all of Portugal, and is an important part of any golfing holiday to the beautiful coastal area to the West of Lisbon.
Since its inauguration in 1945, Estoril has been the host of the national amateur championship on some 60 occasions, while the Mackenzie Ross designed layout has also welcomed the European Tour’s finest for the Portuguese Open on 20 separate occasions. Some of golf’s most famous names have graced Estoril’s fairways, and presents a testing proposition in a beautiful location, bordered by eucalyptus, pine and mimosa trees.
The course and clubhouse allow visiting golfers to enjoy spectacular views over the Atlantic coastline, embellishing the experience of a round at Estoril.
