The club was originally named the Barcelona Golf Club but was moved in 1954 to El Prat de Llobregat and then in 2003 onto the BonVilar estate next to the Llorenç del Munt i l’Obac Natural Park. It hosted the Spanish Open in 2015 and is internationally renowned as having some of the best golf in Spain.

Designed by Greg Norman, Real Club de Golf El Prat has 45 holes split into 4 circuits. The Open Course, the Blue Course, the Yellow Course and the Pink Course. All four are approximately 6,500 yards from the black tees and are suited for the advanced golfer as well as the recreational.

Real Club de Golf El Prat has held many international tournaments including the Spanish Open – 10 times. The majority of the fairways are wide but tee lined so require accurate driving to set you in good stead for an approach shot to the green. The majority of the greens are large but have tricky run off areas awaiting any wayward shots.

Real Club de Golf El Prat is located in Terrassa, just outside Barcelona.  Fly to Barcelona, which leaves a short 30 minute drive or fly into Girona, which is around an hour away.
