Just ten minutes from the heart of Marbella is the Santa Maria Golf and Country Club, which occupies an enviable position on the Costa Del Sol. The existing golf course was conceived by Antonio Garrido, the former European Tour player and father of current professional, Ignacio. Though not particularly long – the course is only 6,107 yards at its peak – Santa Maria is thoroughly entertaining, offering a varied test and a number of spectacular holes.
