Accuracy & Information

FlyforGolf.com has taken all care to ensure published information and prices are accurate however if we identify an error or omission following publication, we will inform you before confirming your booking.

The revised information will then form part of your contract. If an error or omission is discovered after your booking is made, we will always try to advise you prior to your holiday.

Prices

All prices quoted are in EURO.

Deposit/Payment

A non-refundable deposit of 25% is due at the time reservations are requested. The schedule of payments is as follows:

  • 25% deposit at time of booking
  • Remaining Balance of 75% due 8 weeks prior to date of arrival
  • 100% payment is required if a booking is made within 8 weeks date of arrival

Payments may be made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard) or Bank Transfer/International Bank Draft.

We authorise FlyforGolf.com, a Limerick Travel company to charge the card given with the grand total equivalent in Euro at the exchange rate prevailing at time of clearance.

Please note that tour space may be released or cancelled if any tour participant fails to meet any of the required payments schedule. The total price of the tour is not guaranteed until My Holiday Ireland has received payment in full.

Accepted Forms of Payment

FlyforGolf.com accepts the following forms of payment:

(i) Credit Cards – Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Switch, Electron, Solo and Delta. Please note that all payments made by credit card carry a 2% handling charge.
(ii) Debit Cards – we do not carry a handling charge.
(ii) Personal and Company Cheques made payable to “Limerick Travel Limited”.
(iii) Bank Transfers are accepted on balances.
(iv) American Express – all payments made by American Express carry a 2.5% handling charge.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be submitted via fax or e-mail to FlyforGolf.com and are subject to the following cancellation charges:

  • From time of booking to 12 weeks prior to date of arrival – loss of deposit only
  • 9 to 12 weeks prior to date of arrival- 50% of total tour price
  • 8 weeks of less prior to date of arrival- 100% of the total tour price

In event of trip cancellation by FlyforGolf.com deposits and payments will be refunded in full.
FlyforGolf.com reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure. FlyforGolf.com reserves the right to cancel any individuals’ participation in a tour, or any part thereof, by refunding a proportionate balance for the unused portion of the tour.

Refunds

All refunds for cancellations will be issued within 60 days of written notification. No refunds are made for any unused portion of any package.

Do we need travel insurance for the trip?

We recommend that all our clients take out travel insurance to cover against accident & baggage loss. FlyforGolf.com is not liable for loss, damage or theft of luggage or personal belongings, or for personal injury, accident or illness, or cancellation of the trip.

Transportation

Car rentals include unlimited mileage, time, local taxes and cdw insurance.
The minimum and maximum driver age restrictions apply (23 to 75 years).
Drivers 70 or over are subject to an insurance surcharge.
All drivers under 25 and all drivers 70 and over are liable for the first €1,200 – €2,100 of damage to the car (excess).
Drivers must have held a full driver’s licence for at least 12 months prior to hiring a car.
When you collect your vehicle you will also be asked to pay a Fuel Deposit. Fuel policies vary.
Please check when you pick up your car Personal accident insurance, and any other non-mandatory insurances are not included.

Visits, Entertainment and Other Features

FlyforGolf.com reserves the right to substitute visits, entertainment and other features when establishments are closed or cannot be visited for reasons beyond our control.

Not Included

All items of a personal nature (room service, beverages, telephone charges, laundry, special food requests, etc.) and meals not specified on the tour itinerary are not included and must be paid by the passenger.

Responsibility

FlyforGolf.com acts only as an agent for the chosen suppliers, coach operators, accommodations, and golf green fees, and as such accepts no responsibility for:

  • Any loss of/or damage to property or injury to any person caused by reason of any defect
  • Negligence, or other wrongful act or omission of, or any failure of performance of any kind by: any transportation company, vendor or supplier
  • Any inconvenience or loss of enjoyment
  • Any delayed departure, missed connections; substitutions of accommodations, terminations of service, or change in fares or rates
  • Any cancellation or double bookings of reservations or tickets beyond the control of My Holiday Ireland

The company does not accept the responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delays or changes, quarantine, sickness, strikes, war, weather, acts of God or other causes. Such losses or expenses will have to be borne by the client. Reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made where deemed advisable for the comfort and well being of the passengers, or changes as a result of unexpected conflicts not indicated in the itinerary. By embarking on his/her travel, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.

Dress Code

We cannot accept any responsibility in any ruling by the hotel/golf course if you or any of your group is unable to play due to inappropriate attire.
Please check before you travel that your group is aware of appropriate golfing attire.

Standard of Play / Golf Etiquette

Knowledge of golf etiquette and the rules of golf are expected by all members of your group. Some golf courses will require handicap certificates before accepting visitors, which we will try to advise you of at the time of booking. Please click here for further information about Golfing Etiquette.

Tee Times

Golf courses reserve the right to alter confirmed tee times. If your confirmed golf club cancel your reservation or change your tee time we will try to find a suitable alternative. You will be charged or refunded for any difference in the original cost. Such changes do not entitle you to cancel a holiday that is part of a package.

Please also be aware that some golf courses may pair you up with other golfers during peak times.

Condition of Golf Courses

The condition of golf courses varies throughout the year. General golf course maintenance on tee boxes, fairways and greens are an essential feature of golf course preparation. FlyforGolf.com cannot be held responsible for the impact of such work.

Our Descriptions

The descriptions of the hotels and golf courses and other aspects of the holidays are based on opinions gained on site visits and on the opinions of hotels themselves. We are not always able to exercise control over all the components of the holiday arrangements and it is possible that an advertised amenity be withdrawn or changed due to various reasons such as water conservation, renovation work, etc. We will advise you if we become aware of a major change but we cannot accept liability for loss, damage or inconvenience in such circumstances.
