Opened in 2009, Beroun Golf Club is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Les Furber. The Canadian transformed a former military base into one of the finest parkland layouts in the Czech Republic, covering 160 acres of beautiful land, lined by the forest of the Brdy mountain range.
Beroun Golf Club is laid across the natural contours of the land, providing numerous elevation changes. Breathtaking vistas are in abundance, stretching over the Brdy mountains and the historic town of Beroun. A total of 70 sand bunkers and 4 lakes will keep you on your toes, making Beroun Golf Club an intense, but enjoyable challenge. A number of holes have visible landing areas, allowing for a real risk and reward approach. Watch out for the 13th, a par 4 which can be unlucky for some. Despite being relatively short, the fairway doglegs almost 90 degrees to the right. Beroun Golf Club is located in the picturesque town of Beroun, just 25 minutes away from Vaclav Havel Airport and 30 minutes from central Prague. |
