Uraburu Golf

The course is a magnificent 18-hole golf course (par 71) designed by José Maria Olazabal, a two-time Augusta Masters champion. It is located in the Basque Country (Northern Spain), 15 minutes from Bilbao's downtown, 1 hour from San Sebastian, 1 hour from La Rioja, 15 minutes from Bilbao Airport, and 1 hour from Santander Airport. It’s a challenging golf course that combines narrow fairways with falls and elevation changes that will excite even the most technical player and it has some amazing views.

The beauty of this course lies in the diversity of its holes, there are no two holes alike. This makes Uraburu Golf a fun course with a medium-high degree of difficulty meaning each round is a unique experience.

Meaztegi Golf 

Meaztegi Golf is the first public golf course in Bizkaia. An 18 Holes course par 72 of 6,410 meters with four par-5, ten par-4 and four par-3 holes. The Meaztegi Golf has been conceived to be enjoyed by players of all levels, even for those with high handicaps. It is then possible to increase the difficulty of the game when organizing high-level competitions. It also has a golf school with a large practicing course.

Larrabea Golf

Larrabea is a classic northern Spain course, a parkland course with a lot of trees, but most of them are just on the sides of the fairways separating the holes and are not really in play. It is a par-72 course with 2 loops that start and finish at the clubhouse, it has a classic layout with 2 par-3s, 2 par-5s and 5 par-4s in each nine. There are elevation changes throughout the whole course, but the slopes are mainly gentle.

Larrabea is one of the finest courses in the Basque Country, a good mix of strategic and penal holes which have been improved over time with some subtle changes from the original design. The club has a good golf academy with a nice par-3 course with six holes in which children can practice freely. This course is where the major champion Jon Rahm started playing and he’s still a member of the club.
