Sueno Hotels Golf Belek is one of Belek's standout golf resorts, set right between two 18-hole championship courses and only a short hop from the beach. It's an easy, golfer-friendly set-up for a Belek golf holiday, with the hotel, clubhouse and first tees all within minutes of each other.

The Sueno Golf Hotel has 174 guestrooms designed with golfers in mind: comfortable, quiet and ideal for switching off after 18 or 36 holes. Rooms include air conditioning, a private balcony, plasma-screen satellite TV, Wi-Fi, a safe, mini-bar, hair dryer and a deluxe bathroom. There's also a direct dial telephone, plus enough space to unpack properly if you're staying for a full week.

A nice touch here is how close everything feels. You're never far from the lobby, restaurants or bars, and with the Pines and Dunes on either side of the hotel, early tee times are painless. If you're travelling as a group, it's an easy base, with plenty of communal areas to meet before golf and settle scores afterwards.

The hotel sits right in the middle of the Pines and Dunes courses, so you're never more than a few minutes from the first tee. It's a 5-star experience throughout, with access to the facilities at Sueno Hotels Deluxe Belek as well as everything on-site. The all-inclusive format covers meals and drinks, which means you can focus entirely on your game without worrying about the bill at the end of the day.

Dining is spread across three restaurants, including two à la carte options, with eight bars across the resort for everything from a quick beer after nine holes to a longer evening. The views are particularly good late afternoon, which suits Belek perfectly when you're chasing winter sun. The quality of the food matches the surroundings, and it's the kind of set-up where you can have a relaxed breakfast before your round, grab lunch between nines and settle in for a decent dinner once you've finished.

For a golf-and-spa break, the spa offers Hammam treatments and massages, ideal if you've walked the course a couple of days on the bounce. There's also a fitness suite, swimming pools, tennis courts, football pitches and a mini-club for families. The resort is 45 minutes from Antalya International Airport, located on Turkey's golf coast near the shores of Belek.

Pines Golf Course

The Pines Course is the main golfing feature at the Sueno complex, measuring over 7,000 yards from the championship tees. The designer has incorporated many of the rugged characteristics of a links course, giving the Pines an amazing character.

Apart from being truly beautiful, the Pines, studded with huge water hazards and expanses of sand, is a stern test of championship golf, and is one of the finest layouts in Belek.

Sueno's signature hole certainly requires some solid golf in order to achieve par. With little margin for error, golfers must carry 214 yards over water, to a green containing a pin dangerously near a green side bunker. A safe option would be to aim away from the pin, but with this tactic, a two putt might not be so easy!

Dunes Golf Course

Sueno’s second course is the Dunes, which is suitable for golfers of all standards. It does, however, still tip the scales in excess of 6,500 yards, and is no pushover. Enormous bunkers and the links-style shaping are characteristics, but it is the Dunes’ closing hole which is the lasting memory – pluck up the courage to find the putting surface at the 18th hole’s amazing island green.

Once you've finished your round it is well recommended to sit and enjoy an apres golf drink overlooking four of the greens of the Dunes and Pines courses, if you get the chance we'd recommend teeing off in the first 4-ball of your group of golfers so you can enjoy their attempts at clearing the water on the island greens!
